Are the ones where you didn't even get to say hi,
Nice and proper,
Blink and it's over, like a speedy chopper,
You're left scratching your head,
Wondering what you could have said,
To stay in that moment a little longer,
It's best to not linger,
Over memories of the past,
However great they were, for it did not last,
So pack up your feelings,
Focus on healing,
Only things that are meant to stay,
Will stay,
Move along, there's nothing left to see,
Unburden your heart and feel free,
Make space for the right ones,
Who will love you tons.
