No one is truly happy,
And always sappy,
No one's life is perfect,
Look close and you'll find the spots that are wrecked,
You can cry over it,
Or choose to pull yourself out of that pit,
Happiness is hard work,
Choosing to do the inner work,
Takes effort and courage,
Give yourself a solid nudge,
To snap out of that toxic rut,
Believe your gut,
And have faith that good things are yet to come,
Until that time, strum or drum,
A happy tune,
And stay immune,
To negative thoughts.
